Chubb names John Keogh North America Insurance chair

Chubb announced Tuesday that John Keogh, president and chief operating officer of Chubb Group, was appointed to the additional role of executive chairman of its general insurance business in North America.

He succeeds John Lupica, vice chairman, Chubb Group, and current executive chairman of North America Insurance, who will retire at the end of the year.

Mr. Lupica joined Chubb, formerly Ace, in 2000 as executive vice president of U.S. professional risk and has held various leadership roles. He was appointed executive chairman of North America Insurance last year.
