Chubb promotes Teresa Black to surety leadership role

Chubb Ltd. on Wednesday named Teresa Black as executive vice president, chief operating officer, of its North America surety division.

Previously, New York-based Ms. Black was executive vice president, commercial surety. She will continue to report to Stephen Haney, president of the division.

Ms. Black joined a predecessor company to Chubb in 2013 and in 2015 she was named one of the Business Insurance Women to Watch.
