Chubb reorganizes E&S unit Westchester

Westchester Surplus Lines Insurance Co. announced three new business practices Friday and named established leaders at the company to head them.

The insurer, which is an excess and surplus lines division of Chubb Ltd., formed property, casualty and financial lines business practices, the company said in a statement.

Matt Booker, head of brokerage property and inland marine, will head property. Alpharetta, Georgia-based Mr. Booker joined Chubb in 2013.

Tom McLaughlin, head of brokerage casualty, will head casualty, including casualty, specialty casualty – including railroad, product recall, transportation, and life sciences – and environmental. Boston-based Mr. McLaughlin joined Westchester in 2019.

Andrea Larkin, head of financial lines, will be the financial lines practice leader. Ms. Larkin joined Westchester in 2007.

The three executives will continue to report to David Lupica, division president of Westchester, the statement said.

In addition, Dave Roberts, executive vice president of Westchester’s digital and middle market operations, will take on additional responsibilities for operations, programs and information technology, the statement said.
