Coalition appoints Maha Virudhagiri as Chief Technology Officer

Coalition, an active insurer focused on preventing digital risks, has announced the appointment of Maha Virudhagiri as its first Chief Technology Officer.
In this role, Virudhagiri will report to Joshua Motta, CEO and co-founder of Coalition, and will be a member of the company’s executive team.
He will lead engineering, IT, information security, data, and artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives to further strengthen Coalition’s leadership in both insurance and cybersecurity.
Virudhagiri joins Coalition after more than six years at Tesla, where he served as Engineering, Design & Product Leader. In this role, he played a key part in leading Tesla’s Global Digital Experience organisation, overseeing a worldwide team of engineers, product managers, and designers.
Earlier in his career, Virudhagiri held positions at Ancestry, Walmart Labs, and Cognizant Technology Solutions.
Motta said, “We’re thrilled to have Maha join our team to help Coalition scale our engineering efforts as we continue to create the most innovative cyber insurance solutions in the world.
