Comp insurer Employers names next CFO

Employers Holdings Inc. Wednesday said Michael Pedraja will join the Reno, Nevada-based workers compensation insurer as executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective Feb. 3, 2025.

Mr. Pedraja, currently CFO of Bermuda-based reinsurer Ariel Re Group, will replace Michael Paquette, who will retire in March 2025, Employers said in a statement.

Before joining Ariel Re in 2021, Mr. Pedraja was senior vice president and treasurer at Allstate Insurance Co. for two years and a managing director Aon PLC for six years.
