Claims management company Global Risk Solutions Inc. said Monday it has bought Avon, Connecticut-based claims firm William Kramer & Associates.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
William Kramer, which has about 10 adjusting staff, specializes in large and complex claims and litigation management, Miami-based Global Risk Solutions said in a statement.
The acquisition is “a tangible sign of our intention to grow our complex claims solutions business both in the U.S. and internationally,” said Michael Reeves, Global Risk Solutions’ London-based complex claims loss executive, in the statement.
Global Risk Solutions, which has about 50 employees, launched the complex claims unit last month.
William Kramer will continue to operate under its own name “for the foreseeable future,” a Global Risk Solutions spokesman said.
