Conduit Re announces appointments

Multiline Bermudan reinsurer Conduit Re on Thursday promoted Angus Hampton to head of casualty.

Peter Kiernan, head of property, will add broker and client management to his area of responsibility, while former Hamilton Re executive David Frawley will join Conduit’s specialty team.

Mr. Hampton will manage Conduit Re’s global casualty underwriting team and lead the development and delivery of the company’s casualty strategy.

Head of property since 2022, Mr. Kiernan’s role is expanded to add broker and client management.

Mr. Frawley, most recently vice president, specialty reinsurance for Hamilton, will work alongside Marc Bearman, head of specialty.

Mr. Hampton’s appointment follows the departure of Mario Binetti, named to head casualty in March 2023.

Nick Pritchard, interim chief underwriting officer, has indicated that he will leave the company in February.

These promotions and appointments are subject to Bermuda immigration approval.
