Conifer, Skyward partner on cannabis coverage

Conifer Insurance Services has partnered with Skyward Specialty Insurance Group Inc. to launch Cannabis Select coverage for operators in the sector.

The program was designed to complement Conifer’s Cannabis Essentials program, the specialty managing general agent said in a statement.

Available limits are up to $25 million for property, $5 million per occurrence/$5 million aggregate for general liability and product liability.

This compares with up to $5 million for property, and $1 million per occurrence/$2 million aggregate for general liability and product liability for the Cannabis Essentials program.

Bishop Street Underwriters acquired Conifer last September.
