The Occupational Safety and Health Administration expects to publish its emergency temporary standard for COVID-19 vaccines and testing “in the coming days,” the U.S. Department of Labor said Monday.
President Joe Biden said in September that OSHA would introduce an emergency standard covering mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations and testing for companies with more than 100 employees. In October, OSHA sent a draft of the standard to the White House.
In a statement Monday, a spokesperson for the Department of Labor said the White House’s Office of Management and Budget has completed its regulatory review of the temporary standard and it will soon be published in the Federal Register.
