Cowbell obtains $60M in funding from Zurich

Cowbell, a Pleasanton, California-based provider of cyber insurance for small and mid-sized enterprises, said Friday that it closed a $60 million investment from Zurich Insurance Group Ltd.

The cyber insurer said in a statement that it would use the money to invest in operations, bolster cyber resilience services and extend its presence in key markets.

Cowbell also said it plans to use Zurich’s investment add new products and strengthen strategic partnerships.
