Cowbell promotes Sabouni to Chief People Officer, & Palardy to Chief Actuary

Cowbell, a provider of cyber insurance for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), has made two executive promotions, as Sahar Sabouni, Head of Employee Success becomes Chief People Officer, and Dan Palardy, Lead Actuary, becomes Chief Actuary.

Sabouni joined the organisation in May 2021 and played a key role in building out the company’s People Operations, Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development infrastructure from the ground up.

Prior to joining Cowbell, Sabouni held positions at Nexxiot as Vice President of People & Business Operations, and multinational public companies including Mondelez International, where she led projects such as establishing HR Shared Service Operations and setting up HR infrastructure for spin-off entities.

Meanwhile, Palardy joined Cowbell in January 2022, where he brought 13 years of actuarial and underwriting experience to the company.

During his time serving in the role of Lead Actuary, Palardy was the head of the Actuarial and Catastrophe Modeling team.

Prior to joining Cowbell, he worked at Axis Capital, where he specialised in cyber and professional lines reinsurance pricing, serving as Senior Pricing Actuary.
