Alight, a cloud-based employee benefits administration company, announced Monday it appointed Crawford CEO Rohit Verma as CEO and a board member effective Jan. 1.
He will succeed Dave Guilmette, who will step down Dec. 31 as CEO and from the Chicago-based company’s board.
Mr. Verma joined Crawford in 2017 as chief operating officer and was appointed CEO in 2020. Before that, he held various senior management roles at Zurich North America and management consulting roles at McKinsey and Deloitte.
Crawford on Friday appointed W. Bruce Swain as interim president and CEO, effective Jan. 1, taking over after Mr. Verma’s departure at the end of the year.
