Cyberwrite & Howden extend cyber risk analytics partnership to 52 countries

Cyber insurance technology firm Cyberwrite has expanded its partnership with re/insurance broking group Howden, making its cyber risk analytics available in 52 countries and seven languages.

Howden and Cyberwrite first announced its collaboration in March 2024, aiming to enhance cyber resiliency for clients worldwide.

Cyberwrite’s risk quantification technology helps Howden brokers provide clients with actionable insights and industry benchmarks, enabling businesses of all sizes to assess their cyber exposure and optimise coverage.

Howden’s 2024 cyber report shows a 15% drop in insurance pricing from its 2022 peak, with insurers increasing limits, removing ransomware-related restrictions, and lowering retention levels.

With Cyberwrite’s AI-driven risk reports—powered by its patented 4SEEN technology—insurers gain deeper insights into cyber risk, enhancing their underwriting confidence.

Nir Perry, CEO and Founder of Cyberwrite, said, “Cyber insurance is becoming an essential part of business resilience, and Howden is leading the charge in delivering smarter cyber risk solutions globally.

“By equipping Howden brokers with Cyberwrite’s patented AI-driven real-time risk reports, we’re helping businesses worldwide make informed decisions and secure the coverage they need against growing cyber threats.”

With the cyber insurance market expected to reach $50 billion by 2030, accurate risk assessment is more critical than ever. Cyberwrite’s collaboration with Howden addresses key challenges for brokers, including client education, policy optimisation, and underwriting efficiency.

Shay Simkin, Global Head of Cyber at Howden, said, “By integrating Cyberwrite’s reports into our cutting-edge Cyber+ system, we are able to offer the best-of-breed cyber risk reports worldwide in real time to our customer base and beyond.

“We have been using Cyberwrite’s technology since 2019, and expanding this relationship allows us to provide more context about risk exposure to companies that don’t understand how vulnerable they are.”
