Dallas-based brokerage launches

Property/casualty and employee benefits brokerage Artemis Risk Solutions LLC launched this week, naming several veteran brokers to leadership positions.

Chris Burns, who previously worked at Vertus Benefits and Willis Towers Watson PLC, among several other brokerages, is CEO of Artemis.

Clint Anderson, a former leader of Hub International Ltd.’s staffing industry practice, is chief revenue officer. Hub sued Mr. Anderson and Artemis last week, alleging he breached a nonsolicitation agreement.

Christopher Cordes is president of the company. Previously, he worked at Hub and Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., among other brokers.

David Lamb, former national property director at St. Louis-based brokerage Lakenan, is president of P&C of Artemis.
