Davies Group buys loss adjusting firm

Davies Group Ltd. said Monday it acquired Budget Claims Services Inc., which does business as Barker Claim Services, a Greensboro, North Carolina-based loss adjusting company.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Barker Claim Services has 25 employees, all of whom will join Davies. President Brian Barker will continue to lead the business, reporting to Kenny Defnall, president of Davies’ field services division.

Barker Claim Services provides claims handling and loss adjusting expertise for property, casualty and motor claims in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
