Denson takes on strategy role at CAC

CAC Group said Bruce Denson Jr. would move from adviser to chief strategy officer at the brokerage.

Mr. Denson was president and chief operating officer of Cobbs Allen, the Birmingham, Alabama-based brokerage that formed CAC Specialty in 2019.

When the sister companies merged to form CAC Group in 2023, he retained his position as president but moved to an advisory role last year.

He will report to CAC Group President John Ludwig.

“Denson will work collaboratively with Ludwig as a market connector focused on identifying the people, teams, and opportunities that will power CAC’s next chapter,” CAC Group said in a statement.
