Emerald Bay Risk Solutions names former Liberty Mutual exec as CEO

Emerald Bay Risk Solutions, an excess and surplus lines insurer, announced Wednesday that it appointed former Liberty Mutual Holdings Inc. executive Tracey Sharis CEO.

Before working as president of global risk solutions for North America Programs for Liberty Mutual, she was senior vice president and director of programs at Ironshore Insurance, a global specialty insurer Liberty Mutual acquired in 2017. Ms. Sharis also worked for American International Group Inc. unit Lexington Insurance Co., where she served as product owner for the employment practices liability group, chief innovation officer, head of risk and economic capital modeling, and product owner for the insurer’s property group.

Ms. Sharis will assume the position March 20, Morristown, New Jersey-based Emerald Bay said in its announcement.
