EPIC adds Ames & Gough execs to law firm group

EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants announced Friday it expanded its law firm group by hiring former Ames & Gough executives Dan Knise and Eileen Garczynski to work with its law firm clients to assess risk management and insurance needs.

Mr. Knise worked at Ames & Gough for nearly 20 years and served as executive chair, principal, CEO and president. Before that, he held various senior management positions at Marsh & McLennan Cos. and its predecessor firm Johnson & Higgins, EPIC said.

Ms. Garczynski began working for Ames & Gough in 2007 and was recently a senior vice president and partner.

Both are based in Washington and will report to Rob Herchert, managing principal of the EPIC Law Firm Group.
