EPIC hires six former CBIZ execs

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants said Friday it has hired six former CBIZ Insurance Services Inc. executives for newly created roles in its Southeast region.

Greg Cryan was appointed managing principal, and Keith Bowman, Steven Fischer, Phillip Leek, and Matthew McCoun were named principals. William Haynes was appointed vice president, aviation specialty practice.

The executives, with expertise in aviation, construction, distribution and manufacturing, multi-family housing and real estate, report to Adam Meyerowitz, chief operating officer of EPIC and leader of its Southeast region.

Mr. Cryan previously was regional president, Southeast, at CBIZ and is based in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Mr. Bowman, previously executive vice president at CBIZ, and Mr. Fischer, previously vice president, are based in Boca Raton, Florida.

Mr. McCoun and Mr. Leek, former CBIZ Regional vice presidents, are based in Atlanta, and Mr. Haynes, formerly a P&C producer, is based in Alpharetta.
