EPIC hires trio of former AssuredPartners brokers

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants said Tuesday that it has hired two property/casualty brokers and an employee benefits broker who previously worked in rival AssuredPartners’ St. Louis operations.

Rick Frechmann, a former partner at AssuredPartners, will be a managing principal at EPIC. His specialties include manufacturing, retail, distribution, construction and group captives, according to an EPIC statement.

Joleen Mayfield, who worked in new business development at AssuredPartners, will be a principal at EPIC. Her specialties include construction, retail, distribution and manufacturing.

Employee benefits specialist Brad Snitzer will also be a principal at EPIC. He had been a partner at AssuredPartners.
