Euclid Transactional launches APAC division led by Alice Ho

Euclid Transactional, a managing general agent (MGA) specialising in transactional insurance underwriting and claims handling, has launched its new Asia Pacific (APAC) division.

Headquartered in Singapore, the APAC programme will be led by Alice Ho, Head of APAC, supported by Edward Chow, Assistant Vice President, and Sean Goh, Analyst at Euclid Transactional.

With this expansion, Euclid Transactional will now support clients and brokers in the Asia Pacific region, in addition to its existing operations in the Americas, UK, continental Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The firm will now support merger and acquisition transactions, as well as tax and contingent risks, in the Asia Pacific region.

Jay Rittberg, Managing Principal of Euclid Transactional, said, “Since our inception in 2016, we have been repeatedly asked by our broker partners and clients to insure their transactions and risks in Asia Pacific. We are pleased to now have boots on the ground in Singapore to support this key region.”

He added, “Our APAC team has deep understanding and knowledge of this product and transactions in the APAC market, and we are confident that we will provide the same excellent level of commercial underwriting and claims experience that we have delivered to our clients in North America and EMEA.”

Alice Ho joined Euclid Transactional in June 2023 as Head of Asia. Before that, she spent over eight years at Clifford Chance, where she was a counsel in the mergers and acquisitions team in the Singapore office.
