Everest expands LatAm presence with new branch in Bogotá, Columbia

Everest Insurance International has announced the launch of its new office in Bogotá, Colombia: Everest Compañía de Seguros Generales Colombia S.A., following regulatory approval from the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia.

This launch marks a key step in Everest’s strategic expansion across Latin America (LatAm), coming shortly after its recent opening in Mexico.

Mauricio Ocampo Gómez, the Country Manager for the new branch, will lead a dedicated team focused on providing exceptional service and customised solutions for corporations throughout the region.

Ocampo Gómez said, “We enter Colombia with a depth and breadth of innovative product offerings, and high-calibre underwriters with a deep understanding of the local market’s needs, empowered to provide superior service to our clients and brokers.”

The Bogotá office will offer a variety of insurance products and risk solutions in sectors such as property, casualty, energy, and financial lines.
