Everest Insurance appoints Josh Pillion as U.S. National Distribution Manager

Global insurer and reinsurer Everest has announced the appointment of Josh Pillion as U.S. National Distribution Manager for Everest Insurance.

Based in Los Angeles, Pillion will report to Craig Hanrahan, Head of Field Operations, North America.

In this role, he will lead the development and execution of Everest’s national distribution strategy, focusing on engaging key brokers beyond the company’s core global partnerships and enhancing agility across Everest’s retail field operations nationwide.

Pillion brings over 25 years of industry experience spanning senior roles in underwriting and distribution.

He joins Everest from Sompo International, where he spent nearly a decade, most recently serving as EVP and Head of Global Distribution Management. In that role, he led a global team focused on managing broker relationships and client engagement strategies.

Prior to that, Pillion spent 12 years at Chubb in various leadership positions and began his career at AIG.
