Everest, a provider of reinsurance and insurance solutions, has named Ashleigh Sears as Head of Alternative Risk and National Accounts Excess Casualty for its North America Insurance division, reporting to Joe Fobert, Head of North America Retail Casualty and Industry Practices at Everest Insurance.
Sears joins Everest from USQRisk, where she most recently served as Head of US Casualty.
Before that, she held several senior roles at Navigators Management Company, where she established the firm’s Boston office and built a profitable E&S portfolio across New England.
Following The Hartford’s acquisition of Navigators in 2019, she became Northeast Division Leader for Hartford Excess Solutions, significantly increasing the unit’s profitability over four years. She began her underwriting career at ACE.
“Ashleigh’s national leadership experience in casualty and alternative risk, combined with her proven ability to shape portfolios and build resilient, high-performing teams, makes her ideally suited for this important role,” added Fobert.
“Her strategic vision and acumen will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our market presence and address the evolving needs of our large-account clients.”
