Everest names former AIG zone president as leader

Everest Insurance, the insurance and reinsurance business of Everest Group Ltd., Monday named former American International Group Inc. executive Steve Reiss as U.S. Northeast regional executive.

He will report to Craig Hanrahan, head of field operations insurance, based in New York.

Mr. Reiss most recently was president of the Northeast zone at AIG. Prior to that, he was corporate risk and broking leader for the Northeast region at Willis Towers Watson PLC. Before that, he held various roles at Chubb Ltd., most recently as executive vice president, real estate and hospitality industry practice leader.

Mr. Hanrahan previously held the U.S. Northeast regional executive role before he was promoted in December.
