Everest names Mike Mulray head of North American insurance

Everest Re Group Ltd. on Monday named Mike Mulray an executive vice president and president of North America insurance.

Previously, Philadelphia-based Mr. Mulray was global chief operating officer of Everest Insurance, the primary insurance unit of Everest Re.

The position was previously held by Mike Karmilowicz, who remains president and CEO of Everest Insurance. Mr. Mulray will report to Mr. Karmilowicz.

Mr. Mulray joined Everest in 2015 from General Electric Co., where he held various risk management positions.
