Everest names Pamela Guerrero head of wholesale casualty for E&S unit

Underwriter Everest Group Ltd. announced Tuesday it appointed former American International Group Inc. unit construction industry leader Pamela Guerrero head of wholesale casualty for its U.S. wholesale business Everest Evolution.

Ms. Guerrero will lead the E&S primary and excess casualty, industry specialties and environmental units, Everest said in its announcement.

While at AIG, she was Lexington Insurance Co.’s construction industry leader and oversaw the portfolio’s strategic growth. She was also the AIG unit’s Southwest zone underwriting manager.

Ms. Guerrero is based in Atlanta and will report to Everest Evolution President Stephen Buonpane.
