Everest names three leaders in E&S unit

Everest Group Ltd. Thursday promoted three leaders in its U.S. excess and surplus lines unit, which it rebranded as Everest Evolution last year.

Matt Meserole was named head of excess casualty; Adam Birch was appointed head of industry specialties; and Cristin McCarthy was named head of excess construction.

New York-based Mr. Meserole joined the insurer from All Risks Ltd. in 2018; Houston-based Mr. Birch joined from Lexington Insurance Co. last year; and San Francisco-based Ms. McCarthy joined from Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. in 2023.

Everest rebranded the unit in September under the leadership of Stephen Buonpane as president.
