Everest promotes Dean Brown to Global COO

Bermuda domiciled insurer and reinsurer Everest has announced the promotion of Dean Brown, who joined the firm in 2021 from Chubb, as its new Global Chief Operations Officer (COO).

In his new role, Brown takes on oversight of operations and analytics across Everest’s global businesses and will drive the firm’s customer experience and operational excellence.

Prior to his role as Chief Operations Officer, Global Insurance and Reinsurance, Brown served as Senior Vice President (SVP), Group Strategy at Everest, having joined in October 2021 from insurer Chubb, where he most recently served as SVP, Strategy and Operations, Chubb Small Business.

Before Chubb, Brown spent roughly 10 months with ACE Group as Vice President, Business Analytics, ACE Private Risk Services, and between April 2013 and April 2015, he worked at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company as Chief of Staff & Head of Strategic Projects – Personal Insurance.

Earlier in his career, Brown has worked at Deloitte, Aon Risk Solutions, and Motorola Solutions.
