Everest Re chief risk officer Mango dies

Everest Re Group Ltd. said Monday that Donald F. Mango, its chief risk officer and chief actuary, has died.
Mr. Mango, 58, died April 8, according to his New York Times obituary.
Everest Re said in its statement that Mr. Mango was a prolific prize-winning author and researcher who published broadly across actuarial journals and was an adjunct lecturer at the Columbia University School of Professional Studies.
The company said Ari Moskowitz, Everest Re’s chief operations officer and chief pricing actuary, has been appointed the group’s chief risk officer.
