Everest Re hires from PartnerRe for financial risk role

Everest Re, the reinsurance division of Everest Group Ltd., on Thursday named former PartnerRe Ltd. executive Marco Schiattone global head of financial risk.

Based in Zurich, Mr. Schiattone reports to Artur Klinger, head of international reinsurance in the newly created role.

Mr. Schiattone most recently led the Latin America and Southern Europe financial risk business at PartnerRe. Prior to that, he held credit, surety and political risks underwriting roles at various reinsurers.
