Ex-NAMIC CEO named Bain senior adviser

Former National Association of Mutual Insurance Cos. CEO Chuck Chamness has joined Bain Capital Insurance as a senior adviser, the insurance unit of the private investment firm said in a statement Monday.
Based in Indianapolis, he will provide strategic advice and input on the mutual insurance industry.
Mr. Chamness served 18 years as president and CEO of NAMIC, a property/casualty insurance trade association, the statement said.
Bain Capital Insurance is the dedicated insurance investing and solutions business of Bain Capital LP, a leading global private investment firm.
