Ferma CEO Typhaine Beaupérin is joining Marsh as client leader for risk management in Europe when she leaves the risk management federation in June.
Ms. Beaupérin will be based in Brussels and report to Lorraine Stack, risk management leader for Europe.
Marsh said Ms. Beaupérin will be responsible for delivering tailored solutions to support its European clients’ risk management needs and build connections within the risk management community.
Ms. Beaupérin announced in April that she would be leaving Ferma after nearly 10 years as CEO. She will take up her new role at Marsh at the end of June. Ferma has yet to announce her replacement, although a search is underway.
Commenting on the appointment, Ms. Stack said: “Typhaine is a dedicated advocate for the risk management profession across Europe and internationally, with a deep understanding of the industry and commitment to driving positive change.”
Ms. Beaupérin is also secretary general and an executive council member at the International Federation of Risk and Insurance Management Associations and an insurance and reinsurance stakeholder group member at the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority.
