FM hires former Liberty Mutual exec as finance chief

Property insurer FM announced Tuesday that it has hired Alison Erbig, a former Liberty Mutual executive, as its chief financial officer.

She succeeds Kevin Ingram, who will retire Dec. 31 after more than 35 years with FM and a predecessor company. Ms. Erbig also will lead FM’s risk management and enterprise resilience functions.

Previously, she was CFO of Liberty Mutual’s global risk solutions division.She joined the insurer in 2003 and has held various finance roles with increasing seniority before being named CFO of GRS in 2021.

In 2024, Ms. Erbig was named one of the 2024 Business Insurance Women to Watch.
