Former ACORD chief Pieroni joins technology company

DXC Technology Co. said Wednesday that Bill Pieroni has joined the information technology company as global strategy and growth leader for insurance software and business process services.

Previously, Mr. Pieroni was CEO of the nonprofit Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development, which develops standard forms and data protocols for the insurance sector.

Before joining ACORD in 2016, New York-based Mr. Pieroni was global chief operating officer of Marsh LLC.

Ashburn, Virginia-based DXC was formed in 2017 by the merger of Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s enterprise services business and Computer Science Corp.
