Former Aon exec Caffrey joins White Mountains

White Mountains Insurance Group Ltd. on Thursday named former Aon PLC senior executive Liam P. Caffrey as chief financial officer.

Mr. Caffrey, who left Aon during a management shake-up in 2020, will join Bermuda-based White Mountains in March 2022, the insurer said in a statement.

He succeeds Reid T. Campbell, who will become president of White Mountains next year and will retire in 2024, the statement said.

Mr. Caffrey spent eight years at Aon, most recently as CEO of its affinity business. Prior to joining the brokerage, he was a partner at McKinsey & Co.
