Former Jencap execs rejoin Burns & Wilcox

Burns & Wilcox announced Friday that former Jencap executive Taras Shalay has rejoined the company as associate managing director, along with a team of professional liability and commercial brokers.

Mr. Shalay, who earlier in his career was regional director of professional lines at Burns & Wilcox, most recently was senior vice president for the Midwest region at Jencap.

He reports to Managing Director Brett Faustman.

Chantal Grumski, previously senior broker, special risks facilities at Jencap, was named senior commercial lines broker; Andre Bridges, previously a senior broker, was named senior commercial lines underwriter; Tyler Hayden, previously senior broker, was named broker, and Maria Rojo, previously a broker, was appointed senior associate broker.

Mr. Shalay and the team will be based at Burns & Wilcox’s headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
