Gallagher has further expanded its services with the launch of alternative risk management solutions in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Artex.
This expanded suite of solutions available to clients leverages the expertise of ACE Gallagher’s risk professionals, further strengthening their support for businesses across the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region.
Now licenced, Gallagher and Artex are able to expand their capabilities to offer clients in the region a wider range of risk management solutions, including captive management and alternative risk transfer strategies.
Artex specialises in alternative risk solutions and provides a range of services to clients globally, including insurance and captive management, programme and facility management, insurance-linked securities (ILS), and structured transaction administration.

These experts have extensive experience across various sectors, including aerospace, construction, marine, energy, power, renewables, marine, special risks, crisis management and financial lines.
The firm also has retail broking operations through its joint partnership with ACE Gallagher, a pioneer in the MEA regional insurance industry, with roots dating back to 1952 and offices in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Lebanon and Greece.
Recent years have seen remarkable economic growth and diversification across various sectors in the Middle East, including in industries such as energy, construction, finance, and healthcare are experiencing rapid expansion.
This growth also brings more complex risk for businesses. As a result, many of the largest firms are turning to captive insurance as a key component of their risk management strategies.
