Gallagher buys Irish brokerage

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said Monday it has bought Dublin-based brokerage Keaney Insurance Brokers Ltd.

Terms were not disclosed.

Keaney is a commercial brokerage with about 15 staff.

Terry Keaney, managing director, will remain with the brokerage and report to Ronan Foley, head of Gallagher’s insurance brokerage operations in Ireland, a Gallagher statement said.
