Gallagher buys Michigan agency

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said Tuesday it acquired Fenton, Michigan-based Peabody Insurance Agency Inc.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Peabody Insurance is a retail agency with expertise in construction, manufacturing and multifamily real estate.
Presidents Jim Peabody and Grace Peabody-Ljoljic and about 30 employees will remain in their current location under the direction of Sean Gallagher, head of Gallagher’s Great Lakes region retail property/casualty brokerage operation.
