Gallagher buys Southern California agency

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said Monday it has acquired Murrieta, California-based retail property/casualty agency Bulen & Associates Insurance Services Inc.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1929, Bulen places commercial, personal lines and specialty coverage.

Principal Lisa Mosby and about 10 employees will remain in their current location under the direction of Scott Firestone, head of Gallagher’s Southwest region retail property/casualty brokerage operations.
