Gallagher buys specialty entertainment broker

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said Wednesday it has acquired Nashville, Tennessee-based specialty entertainment broker ABBM Co. LLC, which does business as Anderson Benson.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 2012, Anderson Benson provides insurance, risk management and loss control expertise to hospitality, construction, and transportation businesses and to private clients in the U.S., in addition to the entertainment sector.

Anderson Benson has 30 employees, according to Gallagher.

George Anderson, president, Reno Benson, executive vice president, Brent Daughrity, partner, Steve Buzzell, director of marketing and placement, Will Wright, partner, and the brokerage’s staff will remain in their current location under the direction of Bumpy Triche, head of Gallagher’s Mid-South retail property/casualty brokerage operations.
