Gallagher hires former Aon M&A, transactional risk executive

Arthur J. Gallagher named Hunter Davis, a former executive at Aon PLC, executive vice president and senior managing director of its private equity and mergers and acquisition practice.

Mr. Davis, who will be based in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, was previously chief revenue officer and co-head of M&A and transaction solutions at Aon.

He joined Aon in 2016 from investment bank Moelis & Co.

At Gallagher, Mr. Davis will oversee the property/casualty and employee benefits operations of the company’s private equity and M&A practice, a Gallagher statement said.
