Gallagher Re announces CEO succession

Gallagher Re, the reinsurance broking unit of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., Monday said Brian Flasinski will succeed Jim Bradshaw as CEO of the North American region after a transition period later this year.

Mr. Flasinski joined Gallagher Re in 2015 and was most recently executive vice president and North American sales leader. Prior to Gallagher Re, he served as senior vice president with Guy Carpenter & Co. LLC for nine years, Gallagher said in a statement. He is based in Philadelphia, according to an email from a spokeswoman.

Mr. Bradshaw, who will assume the role of chairman with the transition, joined Gallagher Re as CEO of the North American region in 2021 with the acquisition of Willis Re. Prior to that, he spent more than 20 years with Guy Carpenter before joining Willis Re as executive vice president and managing director in 2005, according to the statement. He is based in New York, according to an email from a spokeswoman.
