Gallagher Re establishes E&S practice

Gallagher Re announced Sunday that it has established an excess and surplus lines practice group in North America.

The practice group is led by Jeffrey Livingston, vice chairman, North America, in Philadelphia for Gallagher Re, the reinsurance brokerage unit of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.

The company also named several executive vice presidents to the practice: Josh Fishman in Philadelphia, John Heagney in Stamford, Connecticut, Graham Jones in Atlanta, Kevin Keller in Chicago, Kelli Morash in Dallas and J.J. Sheehan in Nashville, Tennessee.

“We are seeing existing E&S carriers increase their commitment to the distribution channel as well as long-standing admitted carriers establishing E&S brands,” Gallagher Re said.
