Gallagher Re names Hansen COO

Gallagher Re, the reinsurance brokerage arm of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., Tuesday named Mark Hansen chief operating officer.

He replaces Chris Brook, who is joining BMS Group Ltd.

Minneapolis-based Mr. Hansen, who joined Gallagher Re through its 2021 purchase of Willis Towers Watson PLC’s reinsurance business, was previously COO for North America. He will report to Tom Wakefield, CEO of Gallagher Re, the brokerage said in a statement.
