Gallagher Re names Lara Mowery as Chief Commercial Officer

Global reinsurance broker Gallagher Re has appointed Lara Mowery as Chief Commercial Officer, where she will reportedly oversee the firm’s strategic direction and enhance the delivery of product and practice group capabilities.
Mowery is an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in reinsurance.
She joins Gallagher Re from Guy Carpenter, the reinsurance brokerage arm of Marsh McLennan, where she has been since 1997.
Mowery most recently worked as Guy Carpenter’s Global Head of Distribution and has served on the reinsurance broker’s Executive Committee since her appointment to this role in August 2020.
