Guy Carpenter hires Aon executive

Guy Carpenter & Co. said Thursday it named Jeremy Goodman, a former Aon reinsurance executive, as chief client and growth officer.

In the newly created role, Mr. Goodman will be based in New York and report to Dean Kilsura, president and CEO of Guy Carpenter.

Mr. Goodman joined Aon through its 2008 purchase of Benfield Group. Most recently, he was its London-based global growth leader and chief broking officer.

Before Benfield, he spent 20 years at Cooper Gay.
