Hamilton announces specialty reinsurance promotion

Hamilton Insurance Group Ltd. on Tuesday said Peter Riihiluoma will be promoted to senior vice president, head of specialty reinsurance at Hamilton Re, effective Jan. 1, 2024.

He succeeds Richard Sammons, who will be leaving the organization, a Hamilton statement said.

Based in Hamilton, Bermuda, Mr. Riihiluoma will report to Hamilton Re Chief Underwriting Officer Tim Duffin.

Mr. Riihiluoma joined Hamilton in 2019 as vice president, specialty reinsurance. Prior to that, he was with Chubb Ltd. for nine years, the statement said.
