Hamilton unveils financial lines cover, names leader

Hamilton Insurance Group Ltd. said Tuesday it is introducing financial lines insurance at its Bermuda-based insurance and reinsurance operating subsidiary, Hamilton Re Ltd., with the appointment of former American International Group Inc. senior vice president and financial lines manager David Friston.

Mr. Friston, who joined Hamilton this month as vice president, head of financial lines insurance, is Bermuda-based, Hamilton said in its statement.

Hamilton Insurance said last month it had hired two former James River Group Holdings Ltd. executives as senior underwriting leaders in its U.S. excess and surplus lines business.
